The Inscription House facility provides 40 hour per week ambulatory care for approximately 7,000 nearby residents. The facility is closed after 5 p.m. on weekdays and is closed on weekends. Most staff live in housing provided by the Indian Health Service.

Services are provided to 200 patients each day in continuity or walk-in clinics and in a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week emergency room. The clinic has on site lab, x-ray and pharmacy services. Current medical staff is made up of Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Psychiatry specialties. Emergency services are fully available at Kayenta Health Center.

Services provided to the community include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services; dental and ophthalmology services; orthopedics; OB/GYN; oral surgery; eye surgery; and urological procedures. Navajo Head Start provides services to children, families, and local communities throughout the Navajo Reservation. Head Start/Early Head Start is a unique, flexible program designed to address the needs of expectant mothers, fathers, and children in the center and in the home.
